For immune system support, elderberry syrup is great to take at the first signs of illness to help boost immune response. Typically best for short term use only and not to be used while actively sick. Elderberry and Echinacea Root work to support immune response at the first sign of illness. The addition of warming spices such as ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom helps to warm the body and increase circulation of bodily fluids, avoiding stagnation. Take 1-2 tsp in warm water 1-3x/day.

All herbs are combined with filtered water and decocting on low heat for several hours before local raw wildflower honey is added along with elderflower tincture (for the alcohol free version, no elderflower tincture is added).

There are 2 preparations available- one with alcohol and one with out. The one including alcohol contains some elderflower tincture that works support immune response as well as preserve the syrup for longer. Both preparations should be stored in the fridge.

Ingredients (with alcohol): elderberry (Sambucus canadensis), elderflower (Sambucus canadensis), ginger (Zingiber officinalis), cinnamon (Cinnamomum sp.), cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum), echinacea root (Echinacea purpurea), raw wildflower honey, grain alcohol, filtered water.
